You have identified many aspects of nurse leadership and core competency that support team functions. Having the ability to communicate effectively, time management, flexibility and to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a team is essential.  As the nurse leaders assumes the project leader role, what aspects of the project manager responsibilities differ from the nurse leader role? What responsibility does a nurse leader have to integrate a team approach to projects within an organization? Are there advantages for the nurse leader to assume change projects?
